Maharshi (sage) Agastya : Hindu sage , scholar , teacher and a great spiritual leader

Maharshi  Agastya was the great sage , scholar of Vedic period of Hinduism. He also written some part of rig Veda along with his wife.
According to Hindu religious texts it is said that once he stop the upward growth of haughty mountain Vindhyanchal (in south India ) that's why he is called as Agastya i.e. the stopper of mountain. 

 Once sage  Agastya drank all the water of seven oceans of this world to help gods to kill demons which were hiding in the oceans.
Lord Vishnu himself gave him the knowledge of Tamil language  that's why Maharshi  Agastya is known as originator of Tamil language he also developed early Tamil grammar.

  He also played a leading role in the development of science and medicine in Vedic times.
 According to Ramayana (a Hindu religious text ) during exile in forest (Vanvas) lord Rama along with his wife Sita and brother Lakshman visited the monastery (ashram) of Maharishi Agastya. 

 Maharshi Agastya gave a bow to Lord RAMA which was made by Vishwakarma for Lord Vishnu and cannot be destroyed by any weapon of any foe. He also gave Lord RAMA and Lakshmana divine quivers that he had from lord Indra these quivers can never be empty of arrows. these four arrows of quivers destroy the enemy and vanish  to reappear in the quiver. He also gave devine sword to Lakshmana which has power to to conquer all three worlds by this sword Lakshmana cut the nose of Surpankha (sister of demon Rawana). He gave a divine Arrow to Lord Rama by which lord Shiva killed demon Tripura.



It is said that if all the spiritual power of north put on one side and Maharshi  Agastya on another side. Then the side of  Agastya  will won. Maharshi  Agastya is well known figure in whole South India , South Asia and Southeast Asia.

शबरी श्री राम की परम भक्त थी जिन्होंने उन्हें झूठे बैर खिलाये थे, शबरी का असली नाम “श्रमणा” था, वह भील सामुदाय के शबर जाति से सम्बन्ध रखती थीं इसी कारण कालांतर में उनका नाम शबरी पड़ा । उनके पिता भीलों के मुखिया थे, श्रमणा उनका विवाह एक भील कुमार से तय हुआ था, विवाह से पहले कई सौ पशु बलि के लिए लाये गए जिन्हें देख श्रम बड़ी आहत हुई. यह कैसी परंपरा जिसके बेजुबान और निर्दोष जानवरो की हत्या की जाएगी इस कारण शबरी विवाह से 1 दिवस पूर्व भाग गई और दंडकारण्य वन में पहुंच गई। दंडकारण्य में मातंग ऋषि तपस्या किया करते थे, श्रमणा उनकी सेवा तो करना चाहती थी पर वह भील जाति की होने के कारण उसे अवसर ना मिलाने का अंदेशा था। फिर भी शाबर सुबह-सुबह ऋषियों के उठने से पहले उनके आश्रम से नदी तक का रास्ता साफ़ कर देती थीं, कांटे चुनकर रास्ते में साफ बालू बिछा देती थी। यह सब वे ऐसे करती थीं कि किसी को इसका पता नहीं चलता था। 1 दिवस ऋषिश्रेष्ठ को शबरी दिख गई और उनके सेवा से अति प्रसन्न हो गए और उन्होंने शबरी को अपने आश्रम में शरण दे दी। जब मतंग का अंत समय आया तो उन्होंने शबरी से कहा कि वे अपने

Kalidas; A great poet

kalidasa a intro : Kālidās was a Classical Sanskrit writer, widely  considered   the best  poet and dramatist  within the  Sanskrit language of India. His plays and poetry are  based  on the Vedas, the Ramayana, the Mahabharata  and therefore the  Puranas.  His surviving works  carries with it  three plays, two epic poems and two shorter poems. Much about his life is unknown, only what  are often  inferred from his poetry and plays. His works  can not be  dated with precision, but they were  possibly  authored within the 4th–5th century CE. Scholars have speculated that Kalidasa may have lived near the Himalayas,  within the  vicinity of Ujjain, and in Kalinga.
